This is Solana Beach, my go-to spot to watch the waves whenever I’m in North County. Last weekend, I was maxed out of my favorite barre class and had some time to putz around while I waited for the next one. To fuel up, I picked up a Salted Caramel Latte from Lofty Coffee on Cedros and walked over to Fletcher Cove Park, perched on one of the table and admired the waves.*

*If I wasn’t in Solana Beach for my a.m. barre class, I’d be waiting for a table at this popular brunch spot.
